Hey everyone! Thank you Jamie for letting me do a guest post on here! I am Jennifer Vanzant and I blog over at The Vanzant Family! Hope you'll check out my blog after hearing a little bit about myself!
I am a stay at home of three babies under the age of 3. I have boy/girl twins who just turned 2.5 and an almost 16 month old. The twins are Jocelynn and Jp and our most recent blessing is Madelynn. I am married to the love of my life who just happens to be my best friend too. We met when we were young and knew right away we wanted to be together forever. Shortly after we got married we decided to start trying for the babies we always dreamt of. It turned out not to be as easy as everyone made it look. After many negatives, a miscarriage and two years of TTC we decided to make an appointment with a fertility specialist. We found out why we were having trouble and proceeded to doing IUI's. Three failed attempts later we decided to take a break from the stress of trying and save up for IVF. In March of 2011 we did our embryo transfer. We transferred two so we obviously knew there was a great chance for twins. Two short weeks later we saw those little bouncing beans. We were thrilled. hugged each other and thanked God for finally giving us not one but TWO babies. Life quickly changed after they were born. Chaotic, busy but oh so much fun. When the twins turned 7 months old we discovered something we never thought would happen. I was pregnant! WHAT?! That was our reaction. Actually we just laughed hysterically and cried at the same time. It was a blessing but things would get even harder.
We decided not to find out the gender when I was pregnant since we were prepared for either sex. It was so much fun and I highly recommend it. Before calling her Madelynn, her name was "nugget" for 9 months. April 8, 2014 we had a chunk of a girl. She is a blessing and fits right into our lives. We gave the twins such a great gift because they all love each other so much and I love watching them all together. Its truly amazing.
So thats a little about me bundled up into a couple of paragraphs! I love to blog about recipes, everyday life with three, DIY projects and most recently a business I have started! Hope you stop by! Thanks Jamie for having me!
